Smoke and Mirrors

I was responsible for integrating and optimizing the photogrammetry, volumetric video (8i), visual effects, and any additional smoke and mirrors need to maximize performance while maintaining visual fidelity.

Being There

Using photogrammetry and volumetric video capture, ‘After Solitary’ allows the viewer to step inside the solitary confinement cell that Kenny spent 5 and a half years in. Allowing the user to get a better sense of the sounds and constraints of solitary confinement.

360 Output

While the experience was built to run in real-time we wanted to make sure that the experience would be accesible to people without VR headsets and sharable via Frontlines social media accounts.
